The West Central Music Teachers Club is organized to improve the teaching skills of music teachers and to encourage the musical education of the community through workshops and projects.  Annually we sponsor Junior Festivals in several communities-Montevideo, Spicer, Willmar, Grove City.

Students participating in the festival play piano, sing, or play a string instrument.  Our membership has members from Montevideo, Benson, Belgrade, Kerkhoven, Willmar, Dassel, Litchfield, New London, Spicer, Hutchinson, Kimball, Paynesville, and many other communities in the West Central part of Minnesota.

Our membership stays strong with about 50 teachers involved each year.  We are the local club for the Minnesota Federation of Music Clubs/National Federation of Music Clubs.  Membership is open to all who are interested in supporting the goals of the organization.
